Ho Tram

Maria planned a terrific escape this weekend to the Ho Tram Beach Resort from the endless rain drowning us in HCMC. We were pleasantly surprised to discover how lovely and clean the Ho Tram beach was being only a 2.5 hour drive from the city (previously we got our beach fix in Mui Ne, a five hour drive from HCMC).

We arrived for lunch on Saturday which was followed by Caleb's first dip in the ocean and then some time in the pool. We shared the cost of one nanny between three families so were able to enjoy drinks and dinner at the restaurant while the babies all slept. In fact, Caleb slept incredibly well and did not even make a peep until just after 6:00 am - it must have been the ocean air! On Sunday, we spent more time lying around the pool, getting a bit pink in the morning sun before departing for the city. It was a wonderful weekend with great friends (look for more photos on facebook).

He loved the watching the waves hit us and then he would watch them go all the way onto the beach.
