Around Ho Chi Minh with Mom & Dad
On our first day back in Ho Chi Minh, we showed Mom and Dad around the city. Even though they had arrived a couple days before Caleb and I, they had spent their time in Vung Tau visiting friends and were excited to see Ho Chi Minh. We met up with Kevin for lunch and then walked down Dong Khoi Street and Le Loi Street, stopping for coffee at Highlands and visiting Saigon Square for some shopping.

Caleb with I on Le Loi Street.

Dad and Mom in front of the Opera House - it was the first time I had seen the Opera House without scaffolding all over the front.
A great dinner out at Restaurant 13 on the Saigon River.

Hey Lori, Kev and Caleb!
Happy New Year! Looks like your parents could settle very happily into Ex-pat life...hee hee hee Could they be convinced to move there? You look amazing Lori, a very happy and contented Mama, Kev you always look happy and contented. Such a lucky man. Christmas and New Years were good here this year. Last year I was ready to throw in the towel, but my faith in the holiday season has been restored. Could be the addition of Phil and my nephew Preston into my life...? Dunno. But it was good.
Just waiting for Mexico...21 days left...i can do it, i can do it...
Big hugs,
Lindsay oxoxoxo
Lori - you look wonderful, and such a happy mom! Glad to see you're both back in Vietnam with Dad (I'm sure he was so happy to see his little boy!). Say hello to your parents, and good to see you're having such a great visit! We'll try to catch you on skype soon!
Miss you!
carly
