Argh, no videos

So I am still having problems posting videos to my blog, so I will have to further investigate because I am getting frustrated. I know I can put them on youtube and then link, but I would prefer not to. Hopefully I will have some up soon, as Anushka's antics have been particularly hilarious lately. Monday was the first birthday of one of the girls in the mom's group, so they all got together to celebrate. I can't tell if she likes the hat and is playing with it, or if she is trying to get it off.

This was taken after Anna threw her toys in the toilet, pulled herself to standing, picked up a dolphin and threw it in the toilet and right before she tried to put her toys in her mouth. I think we need a toilet lid...

I read not too long ago that once a baby learns to do something they want to do it over and over. Below is photographic evidence of this. Anna has learned to pull herself to standing, so she does this all day. On the chair, on the toilet, on drawers, on my leg. She is having a good time, but she sure is keeping us on our toes. And she is keeping our ear drums ringing, as well. Every time she gets frustrated or even just for fun she screams. Hopefully this phase passes quickly...

Jeff has been taking Anna to a play group most Mondays for the last little while. They have been going to a play area now that the kids are older and moving around. (Jeff getting out with Anna means I have been getting thesis work done - hurray!) She looks a little dazed in this picture, so I think it may have been close to nap time...

Chugging along

Looking back on February, it was a blur. Jeff and I are better now, but Anushka still has a cough, which we are keeping an eye on. We are getting back into the routine of yoga, schoolwork and Jeff as Mr. Mom while I get schoolwork done. Anushka is enjoying her swimming lessons, her laptime at the library and various visits with other kids. We have been spending a few nights playing Carcassonne and Settlers of Catan, which has been a fun social outlet (when Anna feels like letting us play uninterrupted, that is).The weather has been up and down, so we are trying to take advantage of the nice days when they happen. We got out for some cross country skiing in the ravine yesterday, so I am a little stiff today. Other than that, there isn't too much to report. Now, back to work for me!
