Life in Edson

I have been doing fieldwork off and on for the past two weeks. We are based in Edson and then drive an hour out to the site. The weather has been co-operating, so it has been great to be in the fresh air. The work is a mitigation, so we have been excavating a couple of different historic buildings (or what is left of them). I get a great view of the mountains in the morning, but the work is tiring, so we just head back to the hotel after work, eat dinner and sleep. I will try to pull out my camera one of these days to get some pictures of the area, it is really beautiful.

Halloween Preparation

Garden veggies!

The garden was somewhat successful this year. We got lots of cherry tomatoes and regular tomatoes, some carrots, lettuce that we didn't eat, and enough potatoes to feed a dozen people at Thanksgiving.
