After I left Mexico I spent a few days in LA with a couple of friends. It was nice to relax before coming home. I got to go to Venice beach as well as the La Brea Tar Pits, the Long Beach Aquarium and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Wednesday I flew home and it has been a whirlwind of shopping and visiting with friends and family. Today I leave for the Yukon. I will be flying to Whitehorse tonight and then on to Old Crow in the morning. I should be up there for about a month excavating and surveying. I will be living in a tent with no amenities, so I will write about it when I get back. Have a great July!
