Old Crow

I have now been back in Old Crow for a week. I have been busy looking through their oral history archives and arranging interviews. Hopefully they will go well. Most of it will be in Gwich'in, so I won't know for a while what the elders are saying. All of the people I have been working with have been great, so that has made it a good experience.

This is where I am staying; housing for teachers during the year.

I went blueberry picking on the weekend. I ate more than I picked, but the view from Crow Mountain was amazing (I will put my album up when I get home).

And finally, the pear that travelled the world...

PS - watch out for giant rolling boulders as well as poison dart booby traps!
