Ao Nang, Thailand - After our 8 hours of wandering in Kuala Lumpur, Lori and I boarded a bus for Hat Yai. It was a long trip, with multiple stops to cross the border, but we made it into the city at around 8am. We then caught a van to Krabi and a small truck onto Ao Nang. It is pretty touristy here, with shops lining the street across from the beach, but the beach is beautiful. We managed to find a hotel close to the beach for 250 B, which is just over $6US. We great showers and then went for a walk and found a little restaurant facing the beach and had Pad Thai for a whopping $1.20US a plate. We just did some shopping and are heading for bed. It has been really hot and humid, so I still have some adjusting to do, but this should be a good primer for India and Sri Lanka!

Hey chick, I am supremly jealous of your location. I too am on a much needed holiday, it is humid but not hot, sigh. I do have a beautiful view of a huge gorge and waterfall here in Grand Falls. I will be hanging out in Montreal for a bit and then coming home. I will write more from home but until then have a great time (enough for me too!). I will also send you my order and money with Jeff.
Later gator
